Lobo Book Fair
Fall Into Reading
📅 October 5–9 — During School
📚 October 8 — Open After School
Get ready for a week filled with books, imagination, and new adventures! Thanks to the Lobo PTA, every student will receive a $5 credit toward the purchase of a book during the Book Fair.
Reading helps children strengthen important academic skills while also building imagination, confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
A special thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who make this experience possible! We need additional help throughout the week with setup, student shopping, organization, and more.
Volunteer and help us make the Book Fair magical for every Dolphin:
Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat
We’re combining some of the best traditions from both schools to create one unforgettable night of fall fun for our entire community!
Get ready for haunted activities, trunks packed with treats, ghoulish music, dancing, and plenty of opportunities to do the Monster Mash! 🕺💀🍬
There will be spooky surprises, festive fun, and something for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate together as one school community.
Want to help make the magic happen? We’d love to have you!
🚗 Interested in decorating a trunk?
🙌 Want to volunteer during the event?
Email our Events Lead, Chassidy, at kairttr@gmail.com to get involved.
Too Much Candy? Cash It In!
After all that trick-or-treating, turn that overflowing candy bag into a little extra cash AND help your school at the same time! 👻💰
Bring in your Halloween candy and earn $2 PER POUND — up to $10 per person! 🍫🍭🍬
And here’s the sweetest part… another $2 per pound will be donated to participating schools! ❤️🏫 Plus, donated candy will be sent to U.S. Marines overseas. 🇺🇸
Photoshoot Fundraiser
Capture Your Family + Support Lobo PTA!
It’s time to update those family photos and you can help support Lobo Elementary PTA while you’re at it!
There are several locations and dates available through Fund Photos, but we’ve secured a special Lobo date on Sunday, October 18 at the San Clemente Pier! It’s the perfect chance to get beautiful beach photos while giving back to our school.
For every session booked, Fund Photos donates 100% of the session fee, $50, directly to Lobo PTA!
Host a Trunk
Want to make our Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat even more fun? We’re looking for families, businesses, and community members to host a trunk and help create a festive night for our students!
Decorate your trunk, bring your Halloween spirit, and pass out treats to our little ghosts and goblins. 🎃🍬
Ready to join the fun? Sign up today and help us make this year’s Trunk or Treat one to remember!
The Club Yard
THE CLUB YARD IS ON IN THE OUTDOOR CLASSROOM!
We’re so excited to officially kick off our parent-led Lobo clubs — a place where kids can create, build, play, imagine, explore, and just be themselves.
These clubs were created for the kids who want to spend recess doing something a little different — the builders, artists, thinkers, storytellers, makers, game lovers and big imaginations. Here, the kids lead the way.
Because of the size of our school, each grade has its own designated recess time, so be sure to check the schedule and look for the Club Yard flag flying high!
And remember — these clubs are created and led by incredible parent volunteers. Want to help at a club? Have an idea for a new one? We’d love to hear it.
💙 It’s a kids’ place — and anything is possible.

Choose Your Level. Make Your Impact.
There isn’t just one way to support our Dolphins. Whether you join at the basic membership level or choose to give more, every level says the same thing to our students: we are here, we believe in you, and your elementary school experience matters.
Your support helps make possible the programs, enrichment, events, supplies, field trips, clubs, and community experiences that turn ordinary school days into memories our kids carry with them.
Sign Up for the PTA Newsletter
We're excited to launch the Lobo PTA Weekly Newsletter delivered right to your inbox. The newsletter is designed to be an easy read on your phone in just a few minutes—perfect for getting your family ready for the week ahead.. As we welcome our Marblehead and Lobo families together, we'd love for everyone to join us!
Each Sunday at 4:00 PM, you'll receive a quick, mobile-friendly newsletter filled with upcoming events, how to support your dolphin and amazing updates of all the incredible things happening on campus!
Be sure to subscribe so you don't miss an issue! It's one more way we're working to keep every Lobo family informed, connected, and engaged throughout the year.
Drop Off Costumes
It’s time to clean out those costume closets! Back by popular demand, Lobo PTA is bringing back our Costume Exchange just in time for the Fall Festival.
Have a costume your kids have outgrown or no longer need? Give it a new home! Drop off gently used costumes October 12–19. Clothing racks will be set up out front—please hang costumes on the racks and place any accessories in a labeled bag.
Then come back October 19–23 to “shop” and find something new-to-you, just in time for the Fall Festival! All costumes are FREE to take.
This is a great way to clean out your closets, save a little money, and keep perfectly good costumes in use. It’s also a fun example of upcycling and community sharing because there’s still plenty of life left in that costume!
We’re also looking for volunteers to help organize donations and group costumes by size. If you have a little time to lend a hand, we’d love your help!
PTA Meeting - 10/14
Chili & Chill: A PTA Community Night
Wednesday, October 14

This is a super fun and casual PTA meeting — come hang out, grab a bowl of chili, and connect with other Lobo families! PTA will provide the chili , and we’d love for families to bring a topping, side or beverage to share.

* Make caramel apple teacher appreciation gifts

Thursdays - Early Out
Mark your calendars! One important schedule change for the 2026–2027 school year is our weekly Early Out Day. For our returning Lobo families, Early Out has moved from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Our former Marblehead families will recognize this as the schedule they've followed in previous years.
Every Thursday, students will be dismissed early:
Transitional Kindergarten (Early Bird & Late Owl): 11:38 AM
Kindergarten: 12:40 PM
Grades 1–5: 12:50 PM
This new schedule will be in effect every Thursday throughout the school year, so be sure to update your family calendar, childcare arrangements, and after-school plans.
Our First Year Together…
Message from the PTA
This year is unlike any other.
For the first time, two PTAs with the same passion for children and community are becoming one.
We are bringing together traditions, ideas, volunteers, programs, friendships, and years of love poured into two incredible schools.
And we know that becoming one community will include all of it — the excitement, the growing pains, the hard conversations, the learning, the laughter, and the incredible moments when we realize just how powerful we are together.
We are not asking either community to leave its history behind.
We are bringing the best of both with us.
The traditions that made Lobo special.
The Ohana that defined Marblehead.
The volunteers who made both campuses magical.
And the shared belief that our kids deserve everything we can give them.
This first year is our opportunity to write a new chapter together — one built with intention, compassion, patience, and an enormous amount of heart.
Stronger Together. Ohana Forever.
